Could we stay on topics please?
11/12/14 4:13 PM

Is it just me or does anyone else agree? Ever since the HUB issue and some members visit to 1441r this forum seems to read like bikeland before it became a ghost town. I can't be the only member here who clicks on the new button each visit to scan whats new. Way to many of them have nothing to do with the 14r at all. There is an off topic forum where all this banter would be perfectly welcome.

Hub was very hard to understand at times but I think he asked good questions or gave good advice. Rooks tutorials are great, those alone make this forum a great place. You have guys like Romans who share all he knows without fanfare or ego. You also have a few of the 1441r crew here and they post facts for all to learn from. These are great assets to all 14 owners no matter what your specific likes are. The endless banter that is going on in specific forums doesn't help anyone looking for actual knowledge or help with an issue.

Am I the only one who wants to read about all aspects of the 14r when I go to the 14r section, or turbos in the turbo section. I also don't see why there needs to be an mud slinging about any other forum. Some are run much different than they are here but sometimes just getting to the meat and potatoes is a good thing.

I'm gonna tell you once again, Wolf, you need to learn how to use the off-topic section once in awhile. The whole first page of the general section are off topic topics mostly started by you.

Agreeeeeeeed I will take good constructive criticism and channel my nonsensery to off topic. I will focus on 14r general for 14r general.
Valid points Toledo and Nasty!

Yeah, generally I agree pertinent stuff should go in the proper section. However, the HUb issue is important enough that it should not get hidden away in a less visited section like it is not important enough.

Kruz has always argued that "General ZX-14" means ANYTHING having to do with the 14. Ergo, he posts EVERYTHING in the General ZX-14 section even if it is about literbikes or motorcycle leathers or a tire problem. His rational, literbikes and everything else in his life are related to the 14. Makes sense to me. LOL I gave up hoping things would get posted in the right section a long time ago. Oh well. The search function is a lot better way to find a thread than sifting through all the threads posted in a pertinent section.

If Topics didn't get off course sometimes, it would be dull as hell.
When you see a buddy post something, and you haven't heard from him in awhile, You gotta say hi. Maybe even a jab to the chops. That's what keeps these communties going. Friendly banter back and forth between guys that try and ride together again.
I understand if someone has a question, it needs inputs about what the answer is. But once the amswer has been given, I always figured it was open season.

Time to jab your riding buddies, and make fun of how slow and lame they are.
