Can't get a straight answer from anyone.Question...IS the new collector outlet diameter(OD) on the 14R the same as the 2011 models?

Hmmm.... hard to tell. I mean, who do you know who has had a chance to measure one? You could call Ricky... or Brad Sexton at Roaring Toyz. Or Brock Davidson, though he may not have one yet. That is what he gets for putting so much time and money into Hyabuzas. /snicker

I've tried several pipe sites..Brock's,Muzzy's...even Vance and Hines...who told me to 'order a set now so you'll get it by November'(when my bike should come in)....which I did.And I've received the pipes.Yet they're not giving me a straight out answer(though the guy said 'yes' they would fit)...will my new midpipe fit over the new collector outlet.How hard can that be to know?I already measured the Concours gasket that comes on the Concours midpipe.The inside diameter of the gasket was 2 and 1/8 approx.Slightly smaller.I measured the CS ONE midpipe connection...2 and 1/8...but slightly larger.I won't be using a gasket.The instructions don't call for using a gasket anyway.IF these figures are correct(which they are),and the new collector outlet pipe has not increased from the 2011 Concours(or zx) collector...then these new pipes are gonna fit perfect.I just wish someone actually could come right out and say...yes...the collector outlet OD is...such and such.Sheesh!

Even got an e-mail from a guy at Muzzy's...get this...he says...the new 14 will accept the M14 pipe.WTF?I never asked about a friggin sidewinder pipe?I only asked about od sizes of the ,well,I explained already.

Heh you aren't getting an answer, you are getting a sales pitch.

But a word, if you don't mind. Don't stress over it. Whatever it is, it is. When you get yours, measure it.

And since the header flanges are the same size and spacing (close enough, apparently) and you can use a Brock's or Muzzy or whatever full exhaust on the 2012, no worries.
