Bought this a few months ago and can't enough good things about it. Definitely can ride 50% more miles than I would have with the stock seat.

Do you have a pic of it installed on your bike? About how thick is it?

The thickness really depends on how much air you inflate to extend. Without inflating about half inch thick of material. They say to inflate as needed. For me just a bit of air is enough for comfort and not wobbling.

I have a Corbin seat which is good, no pressure points but just a little to firm for long rides. I'm running bar risers to get pressure off my wrists so don't want to lose that by lifting my ass to much.

Yeah I to have the Corbin (relatively new/still kinda hard) but as you'd pointed out a bit too firm and building pressure on some areas. This Airhawk totally eliminates that issue. Very pleased on the long rides that's for sure. I have 1" risers too and that as you know helps.

Only use the cushion for those long rides; those pressure points are no joke after hundreds and hundreds of miles.

I could see not using it while doing some fun riding but being able to put it on for that horrible last hundred miles to home would be nice.
Did a 1200 mile weekend of Hella fun riding this last summer with NeedForSpeed and that last hundred or so miles I was squirming all over, standin up shakin my ass.

Yeah, that run behind Mt. St. Helens in the horrible traffic and then the slab to home will do it every time!

Hold on now, just so everyone understands. You did that ride on your ZX10. What was your miles? Besides the grin factor I don't think I could take a ZX10 for 1050 in 2 days, even without ending it going back around Mt St Helen.
That was one fun ride though. Love our roads around the PNW.

Miles were better than 1k for sure.

Can't wait for the return of road trip season, we gotta do some more riding together Dave.

Been there, done that too..lol Precisely my point. Yeah much better riding experience for those extra long rides.

Oldman - actually nope, air stays in without any leaks. Once you're on it's just a matter of adjusting the comfort level to your liking. Once set that's it never have to add or release air unless you want to make the change.

I have with a bit of air so that I'm not feeling any pain in the pressure points. It's perfect and more importantly no more pain.

Hey WillsZX14R,

Which model did you get? From the looks of the picture is appears like you have the "Cruiser R Large" if you had to order another one would you go with that model or the "Dual Sport" version?

It looks like the pad hangs over the edge of the seat slightly and its along that seam that I tend to feel a pressure point when I'm riding so I was thinking the Dual Sport might eliminate that issue for me.

Will - I don't 'normally' need an Airhawk, since I don't ride far all that often ... BUTT ... now ya got me thinking: That thing would be good to keep in my top case! (which I keep on pretty much full time). For those rares cases when I am on a long ride, and the rear or thighs get sore, I'd have that as an option for some relief

On one long ride, when I had the stock seat, my inner thighs were sore enough that I was really squirming on the seat. I ended up folding up a towel and sitting on that. Helped a little anyway. But the Airhawk definitely seems mo betta.

How did you decide which model to buy? Or is the R the obvious choice for the ZX14? Where did you get yours? Sorry for all the questions!
