Head ligtht housing for halo light install from a gen 1 question

question will the read hosuing of a gen 1 head light combined with the lens from of a gen 2 work ? I have my old gen 1 head lights with the halos installed but want to use them on my gen 2.

the body looks the same but we know the front lens is different on the gen 2 but if I can take the front off and use it on my gen 1 i can use my halo lights.

I don't see why not. If the injection mold matches gen for gen, then my guess is yes.

yes they are the same so i will start working on it. just need help getting the face off the gen 2 housing and getting it on the gen 1 with my halos in.
