I will like to start with Thank you so much Mr. Gordon for bringing this website to our lives ! I was a member of the other one, never got the chance to blog, but oh boy did I found great info about my beloved ZX-14. Thank you ! Anyways I purchase my beloved 14 last June as a brand new left over for $8900.00 (Great Deal) is a 2007 Candy Plasma Blue, I love the color, chrome mixes so well with it ! So far I removed the fly's, add an undertail and I relocated the tag to the swing arm and I add up bunch of spikes, and other chrome accessories to it. The plan for next month is a set of Ti-Force High Mount Slip ons I really like the way it make the ZX look. By the way my name is Hector Santiago born & raise in Puerto Rico but been living here in this wonderful Nation for the past 15 years. I work for a Pharmaceutical Company and I been riding bikes since I was 12 !

Welcome, Hector!

It has been my pleasure to set this forum up. Thanks for joining us!

Your 14 sounds very much like mine. Flies out, Power Commander, Helibar risers, and Throttlemeister are all I've done so far, except for trying 3 different windshields (trying to cut down the wind a bit). Got her up to an indicated 155 mph once. Just getting started <grin>... -bg

Thank you Gordon !

This is a new home for me. I want to get the power commander when I get the pipes next month. I forgot to mention too I installed a double bubble chrome screen on mine looks cool and works ok. I also installed the Genmars raiser and I love them my wrist feel so much better, I'm 6'1" at 35 yrs old. I got mine to 180 mph by the speedometer I know is not 100% accurate but all I know I was going fast ! And what a feeling it was, in special from riding a GSXR 600 1998 for the past 10 years ! Glad to be here and feel welcome !

I don't think I've tried that screen yet. I've gone with some suggestions made on other forums. Right now I have a Puig screen on there, but I haven't been out with it yet. I'm 6'3", so wanted a fairly high screen. -bg
