What I learnt today about the 50k race is that its a road course race . entry is 100.00 and 50.00 buybacks? WTF . I think you have to go to the website of the 1promotion.com people to learn the rules and stuff.

Na track conditions change to much from day to day to get a one size fits all quickest possible launch program. It would be an alternative for street ET guys that don't want to buy a slider and ruin their bike though.

I've often wondered about the traction control deal on our bikes. Are we automatically disqualified because it's stock on our bikes? I mean none of us use it but still... Could get nasty if someone tried to dig up an excuse to steal your win.

yes the NHRA and IHRA both need to address this cause a lot of new cars have it also not only bikes . a Prius with traction control could be deadly even with the low power output . it would go down any shit track. cut a lite and pin it same ET every time.

Yea that's why I'm not a big bracket fan. Slower rides are always more consistent. There isn't any benefit to being quicker than the rest of the field.

yeah there is. the slower guy has to hit the tree and if the slower guy red lights 1st then its over. if the slower guy late on the tree and you will catch him early you can walk him down the track . just don't let him push you out the back door. and if your late on the tree you will have to run harder to catch him at the finish line and you know your breaking out then.
I always try to pick 2 tenth faster than the guy I'm racing .and if we leave together I know he was 200 late

To be honest I wouldn't mind getting into a class of some sort. Arguing with these grudge guys gets really old really fast. I mean I'm stock wheelbase..... What else is there to argue about? Wouldn't you run a stock wheelbase guy? Maybe even give him the hit?

up to the racers . I post my times its not rocket science to figure out how fast somebody is .

It messes with my play money when everybody knows exactly what I'm running. I still like to charge for drag racing lessons when I get a chance. It's surprising how many guys that should be running 8s are still running mid 9s. We need to get together and meet up at a track that you can coax the locals into betting against me. We can start with me getting the back tire and the hit and end the night with giving them the back tire and the hit.... And still winning the money.

I not much on the grudge thing but I can bet you finding races won't be hard. but beating some them 7 sec. bikes with your 8 sec. bike will be the issue . . theres not many 9.sec grudge racers around here

Yeah I hear you. We have a few 6 sec grudge bikes in the state but it's not the typical crew that shows up at the local track. I guess you'd call it more of a sportsman bet type deal amongst the street bike guys.
