Hey guys I'm new to the form. I just bought a 2016 zx14r special edition two weeks ago. I installed my Center stand yesterday and I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust. I'm getting a lot of conflicting information on what single sided exhaust would work with a center stand. Something like Yoshimura or Akrapovic.

I have a Yosh 4 into 1 on my Gen 1. I needed a Brocks Center Stand Stop to keep the stand from coming up and hitting the chain. And I had to weld on some extra metal on that. Not sure how different the Gen 2 is.

The only info I can offer is that my Muzzy duals did not have a center stand stop. I had to fab one and have it welded on. And I've seen pics showing that Akra duals have stops. I never paid attention to single sided exhausts, though. Good luck with your search.

Full metal I had a 2007 ZX14 with a center stand with a full Yosh system. I used a simple hose clamp on the exhaust as a center stand stop. Seemed to work fine. If you look close you can see the clamp.

The problem I had with mine is that the stand would not even hit the pipe. it would just go up and drag on the chain. The Brocks stop bolts to the lower right side of the frame and stops the centerstand from going up so high.

I have a Brocks CT exhaust with the Brocks center stand stop. No problems what so ever.
