Sunday I picked up my granddaughter and joined Cal Moto shop ride. I was accompanied by Stephen and Mike,who has the exact bike as mine. His has over 90 k miles on it.
Since it was a shop ride the pace was slower. Alex whispered to me ,"We're faster than these guys". Found some new roads, including one that was composed almost entirely of asphalt patches and potholes. The GS guys didn't seem to mind. Had lunch at Moss Landing, then headed home. Almost 170 miles. Got rained on a bit on the way home.

Alex did the morning pre-lunch portion with her electric vest plugged into itself. After lunch I discovered that and plugged it into the bike. "Ohhhh, NOW it's getting warm!" was the response.
She's a real trooper. Not one complaint about the chill or the rain.
