I am going to back up CJunkie and his Junk Science. I know my camera's video will wave away like you blow a bubble out of a child's toy. Eventually, the bubble returns as a perfect sphere or that wave is now readable.
Therefore, the sound or the GPS is taking that data in, but the time or the wave to catch up like Junkie said is I concur with my junk science I can hear with my own eyes.

just touched 170 per speedo . Not perfect per speedo but just about too easy to get to that speed

Not certain, but I think it's resets at 9000 by defalt (battery disconect or new). So I'd say you were flying. I have set mine lower so I see it once in a while.

Pinned, and grinned for a dozens of miles straight many times. Speedo was pinned out, however fast that really is.

Hey bad, there are a couple of reasons the gps won't read correct on the track. First, they are telling you an average speed between the two trap cones. second, gps units take a second or two to register the mph.
I've wrapped my speedometer with stock gearing. now i'm reading 175-180 every pass on the track lol

In 6th gear- all the bike could pull... about a week of ownership, all stock.
In 6th gear with 16/42 and 190/55 rear tire and speedo healer - all the bike could pull... a few times.
In 6th again with 16/43 and healer, 190/ 55 rear- all it could give a few times.
I have never had a chance to verify through GPS,
and my healer is just dialed in using info from the forums
and their website- not 100% accurate for sure.

My speedo saw (once) a tick under 180, but I'm also regeared -1 on front and no speedo healer. So maybe 160ish in reality ? That was fast enough. I was really impressed how quickly it got up there.

I had my Speedo set with a GPS(and speedohealer)With my 16/42 gearing so far I've only gone to 170(also indicated on the speedo).Not that I couldn't go faster,I just didn't feel like it at the time.With my stock gearing,I'm fairly positive I was right at the limiter-speedo(no speedohealer)was reading ALL THE WAY OVER past the 190 marks.Had some more throttle as well.So I'd say she was at 186 pretty sure.Got pulled over the other day at 90.Officer's radar read 90.Guess she's set up right?(speedohealer).At 100 on mine,my buddies Busa was reading 105.
