Not much of a nite for me . Ran a short race nite because weather was closing in with rain expected at anytime.. We only had two qualifying runs and unfortunately , I caught a -.003 redlite on my first elimination so it was a very short nite for me..
The good part was the fact that my runs are getting tighter ( not tight enough tho to use " consistant" :) ) .
My personal goal is a 9:50 /150 . My ETs were way off but MPH was right there. I had changed gearing to see how the 14 liked it . I went to a 39 on the rear and I think 40 would be right on .. The top side on the 14 is incredible..It almost pulls like my turbo did...Just doesn't seem to want to quit :)
Here are my three runs. Tower messed up my number on first run, using 110 instead of 7937.
And yes.....I know, I am horrible on the low end :) I actually forgot to add rpms to account for the 39 tooth rear.

Chrly, I've heard and found out for myself that for every tenth of a second you take off of your 60' that equates roughly to two-tenths of a second off your ET time in the quarter.

Yep.. Pretty much been my experience also, I think I have reached the end my abilities tho. Friday nite qualifying , was teh most consistent I have been 9.79/9.72 and 9.75 . I did make first qualifier with an .045 RT but threw it away when I missed 2nd gear in the first Elim. I just cant seem to improve teh front half..
I am thinking I will take off the rest of teh summer until the Mojave Mile event then revisit the strip.. Besides. I am starting second year on the bike and I only had logged on 10K miles.. I need to get in some seat time.
