shift light feature

when i purchased my zx it didnt come with an owners manual...while screwing around with the buttons on the dash there appears to be an rpm shift light feature..i tried to set it but it doesnt work....what am i doing wrong?

Can you program the light for each gear or is it just one RPM does all? thanks JC

You can download the owner manual for free from Kawasaki.com go to the onwer's center. You don't even have to use a real email address.

Actually, for my 2013, I have two functions for the shift lite.. The first is LAUNCH rpms and the second is SHIFT rpms. If you can't figure it out with the manual , I can do a walk thru tomorrow.
