That came off my bike...why waste money replacing bolts when you can use that plastic locking nut right there and get another who knows how many more miles outta it.

Hey how did I miss this one. This is awesome. Great entertainment.

Grn really lmao, you're digging a hole here. Make a run for it.

Toss the bolt and the Nylon Nut too. I will mail you a new one.

You guys are messing up this thread. This thread is about threads. I'm going to your dog thread and talk about cooking spaghetti.

I love spaghetti

I can't believe none of you have ever had bits of aluminum thread pull out with a bolt? You have to get those of there, wire brush, use a small screw driver to chip away. Some people don't know this happens, this is mainly the target audience of this thread.

Ah, 'beware and look for things like this' kind of thread. Not a list of how to address them, more like:
1. Electrolysis - a bonding of two dissimilar metals.
2. Stretch - as Grn shows that thread damage 3 ways.
3. Beware - as in addressing a hole and what to look for as in metal retention of one metal welded to the other. That galling of the peeling up of the mother thread and her vagina has a her pee'zzzzz sore. You with the daddy diseases pop a penis zit and the whole bolt and vag cavity are damaged 'beyond belief.'

Sure, bend it back straight and just put a nylock on it. It will be fine. Of course, you're joking here, Greenie.

I don't quite get it either. Stick around, I'm sure it will all make sense soon.

How did THREADKILLER's post count get up to 2?
