All that because they used to like to make the forks slant forward innstead of almost straight up and down like a modern sportbike? glad they got that figured out some years later.

Hub, nice find, where the hell do you find these videos??

There's also a LOT more R&D going into the position of the center of mass on the motorcycles than there ever used to be. I suspect in those videos a bit more weight of the front end would have made a massive difference (hence leaning forward cured the weaving)

Guys from the old days find them and they popup in my mail. Back in that era, customers would complain about a 35 to 50 mph wobble or weave [no hands]. Honda's answer was to keep the hands on the bars. You could feel that phenom come thru the bars. They'd come in under warranty, but with slightly worn original tires.

I knew fighting the bars would get me in trouble so I never became stiff and frozen on the grip. Never figured leaning forward would solve the wobb. I used to stand up, but now I see that sends your weight forward some. So the 3 that work for me are lose grip if not let go, lean forward, or stand up and you have a chance for it to settle out and start steering again before leaving the road.
