It's all personal preference but you can't discount that Sunstar makes more spockets than anyone in the world. Or that Renthal has been around since I was born. They make products out of superior materials and they know how to manufacture them. Of course steel will last the longest. I just find when it's time to change my rear Aluminum Sprocket my chain is about done anyway. If I was concerned with max strength and longevity I would run steel and a 530. But like my sticky Bridgstone R11's I am choosing performance.

Yes I am offering the same deal to Suzuki Riders. It's unfortunate that some forums are not as warm and friendly as this one and prohibit postings. I did post on Gixxer.com but please inform your Hayabusa brothers about this promo. Email me directly if you want to purchase a set or you have more questions. I appreciate you all here but I expected nothing less from my Kawasaki Brothers.

Anything on this list has a delivery time of 3 weeks. Less than 30 days guaranteed. We offer more fitments but I only wanted to post wheelsets that I could deliver in 3 weeks time. The lead time to delivery is the biggest problem with selling wheels.

Renthal actually makes the lightest front Spocket with Driven just behind, followed by Sunstar.

A 17T Vortex for a ZX-14 weighs 9.30 oz. A Renthal 18T for a Hayabusa weighs 10.20 oz. I'd have to weigh a 17T Renthal for an accurate comparison. The difference in spline pattern of Kaw and Suz may also be a weight factor.

I'll have to research Regina chains more, they're a lot less expensive than EK too. Thanks. It kills me I just bought two 530 EK chains.

Already did! I got three reactions. LOL I was going to put up a thread but looks like that might get me in trouble.

No worries man. I'm not an expert but I have used all sprocketsisted. Normally I run the DID-ERV7 which they just improved. But lately I have used the Sunstar race chain that's almost identical in weight and strength but you can pick it up at parts Giant for $110. The best price I've seen for DID is $157..The EK 3D is like $178..EK is stronger but its heavier. Regina has just started putting a carbon DLC coating on some of their chains. It's to cut eliminate the need for lubrication as often.

Couple pics of Rickey Gadson's Gen 1, Turbo with Red Titax. I would have never thought the two would look good together but the green and red works.
