PR4 tires
06/24/15 3:59 PM

Hey was up. I just put on the Michelin pilot Road 4 on my 2013 zx14r and with only 200mi I'm loving this tire. I know no one really cares but I'm bored. Hope everybody is having a good day. Here is a pic of my bike and a buddies 2009 zx14.

Great tire. Did 400 miles in the rain topping over 100 mph on France's highway with them. Great in the twisties in the rain also. I did manage to break them loose once accelerating from 60 mph to triple digits in 3rd gear.

I think I'm going to try these when it's time.
At first glance, I've looked at all the siping on the tread and thought 'no way, those things are going to get too hot from all that squirming'. Of course, I guess the rubber compound is blended to be 'right' for the tread. So many people are reporting favorable results on the ZX-14(R) with this tire...

I put the Pilot 4 GT for a long road trip I was just on.
From what I understand the GT is supposed to be a bit more stable and made for the bigger bikes.

With a ZX14R with the Givi bags and topcase , my bike fits that category.
So far about 5000 miles

You cant lose with michelin pilots. I ran the PR2's and PR3's. If i recall correctly i got at least 7500 miles out of them which is steller on zx14. Just dont expect the same amount of grip as a strictly sport tire.
