Hi - I am 59 and on my second ZX14 (totalled my Gen 1 last June).

60 this last December. Bunch of young fuks we are. ZX14 my kinda viagra.

My 14 is wrecked but I'm 55 and I'm still here.

I turned 69 in February. Bought my 2016 ZX14R new in 2016, after owning 3 Blackbirds. I have about 30k miles on the ZX14, including a few times to the Dragon and one 6k mile ride from Minn to Calif and back, in 2 weeks, with my dad who is 19 yrs older than than me. He is small and rode a 650 Ninja to Calif 3 times with me in the last 12 years. Pops and I had matching Blackbirds from 1999, when we bought them new, until he downsized to the 650 Ninja in 2006 and I moved up the 14 Ninja in 2016. He downsized to a 400 Ninja about 5 years ago, and finally hung up his leathers and sold the 400 last Fall, at the ripe young age of 88. He/we rarely got passed at the Dragon in the 33 some-odd years we frequented there, whether we were on our old matching 1000 Hurricanes, Blackbirds, or Ninjas. Imagine being "dogged" by a 650 or 400 Ninja on the Dragon, and seeing a 140 lb 87year old guy crawl off the bike that caught up to you!! He will join me and my son this Sept driving his manual Genesis Coupe, and will likely still spend a day riding my son's Z900 at the Dragon and beyond. a suitable, and sad end to an era, for sure.

I started riding at age 9, will be 64 in June. Maui Raceway Park finally reopening after being shut down for covid 3/20 and just can't wait to throw the clutch again!

It is flashed and makes about 240 hp in this level of tune.
