I'm 61, own a 13' ZX14R, also had a 10' ZX14. If I thought there was a better bike out there for me... I would already own it.

Lytnin, about 18,19 years there was a picture of me and the Canadian zrx mascot that involved zrx dark grandpappy’s special recipe, just wondering if it sounds familiar?

I am turning 61 next month and I've had this disease since getting my drivers license at 14.Always ridden super sport bikes(about 600K miles so far) and its too late to teach the old dog new tricks. Currently have 6 bikes in the stable- ZX14R, ZZR1200, Hayabusa and 3 Honda Blackbirds.
The only pic I have with my ugly mug is with my current Busa. Its a great bike but the showroom stock 14R will still slightly out pull it even though it has a full Brocks exhaust and a Power Commander.

RE: Average 14R rider age....

[Just turned 50 on Wednesday. I got my 2014 in 2020 after having a Yamaha FZ6R followed briefly by a 2013 Hayabusa Gen 2 LE. This bike was my dream bike when I was in CRNA school, had a picture of the 2013 on my desk so I could look at it when I was studying.

Wow ... I see that I first posted in this thread 6/18/2014 at age 45, and had just bought my new leftover 2013 ZX ... so that was 8.5 years ago, and now I'm 54. Man, time flies. SHIT!!
Anyway, I added all you guys to a spreadsheet with your ages and the date you posted. Average age at time of post 51.2 ... wow!
And 51 of us posted in June 2014 ... so 50 of you are also in the 8.5 years older club with me!

My first post here was in 2014 and I was 36. Now 45 and still in love with the 14R! Here’s me and my family a few months back. My wife and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary in July.
And yes, she still hates the bike
