Over 8 days into the New Year before being able to shake the cob webs..Two missed race dates already because of rain. But.. today I was able to get out and put some miles on the 14 to make sure I was ready for the weekend . If weather holds clear, we will have a two day event .
I had forgotten what a sneaky beast the 14 really is . Rolled out of the garage, headed for some miles and leaving the stop sign, hit it , just a little but , and I thought , as the bike went full sideways, that THAT was stupid !! I just knew I was going down but I guess reactions are still there as I saved it and actually , almost made it look like I did it on purpose :) Cold tires , cold street, gobs of power ....Anyway it was a fun warm up for teh year ahead...Sorry about poor focus but I only took one picture cause I was cold ....

Disney has never put together a ride this much fun!! LOL

No I have a local tuner with dyno n stuff.. Makes it really nice He does most of the work on the 14 for me but I think we have it running the best it can .. Now just up to me .. :)

Thanks SS.Three races so far this year. First at Somoma was a huge bust as I went out in first round. Next day I made it to the finals and clutch gave out.tied for third in track points.
At sacramento, i made it to the semis and third in track points.

I now have my best ET of 9.250.At sacramento yesterday Test and Tune, I changed gearing a bit in hopes of faster 60 fts. It wi work if I can learn to keep the front end down :)

What a difference a fresh clutch pack makes. Next time out, run a fresh set of plugs. I left those iridium plugs in for the first 15k. Once I set the valves, changed to a new set... let me just say the one word and that is, "Crisp"

Changed when we did valves at17k. Changing plugs is
not exactly a ten minute job :)
