dealer threw in a 3yr extended to sweeten the deal on my used '06. Saved me from re-painting my tank.

Before your criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you do criticize them, you're a mile away and have their shoes.

I bought mine used but it has the ext. warranty. Its good for resale value. You can shop around at different dealers for a better price. I bought one for a honda online from a dealer accross the country but got over half off from what the local dealer wanted.

I got it mostly for resale value, and some piece of mind. If it was not transferable I wouldn't have bothered.

Check E-bay, there's dealers listing low cost warranties
