BMW S1000RR

Got my Akrapovic full system on, as well as the Power Commander V, along with a Yoshimura fender eliminator, and Tech Spec tank pads. I am only waiting on the OEM rear cowl (which should arrive next week) and it'll be complete.

Even more acceleration than before ( as if it wasn't fast enough before, right?), and that Akrapovic shorty exhaust note................SHEESH its killer.

Bone chilling Power, handling and cornering performance, unique looks and style, intricate, advanced electronic features............and now its got a very thick, roaring exhaust sound...........

The BMW is very impressive in so many ways. Very happy with the decision to buy it, to say the absolute least.

The RR alongside the 14R; what a dynamic duo these two are.

Life is good! I am thankful.

Thank you.

I took the RR out right after the exhaust install to sort of unwind as getting the exhaust on can be quite frustrating at times. Lol
Anyway, the sheer power and acceleration at the higher rev range is kinda hard to comprehend. It's almost too f !!!! King fast for the ordinary joe to own. I noe have access to Slick mode, rev limiter off, and PCV and full exhaust installed.

Given the weight savings and power increase with the exhaust change I gotta keep reminding myself that I do not want to leave hand earths atmosphere and go I to orbit!

Cheesy, yes. But not much of an exaggeration. I wish I could loan this thing to each one of you so you could feel the incredible sensation this bikes performance gives you

I thought I had one. We agreed on a price but when I arrived price went up. That was me out. To date still have not ridden one.

So since you own both I will ask, Which one would you pick if you could only have one and why? Which one provides the best all day comfort if you decide to go on a cross country trip? I take long trips once a year, the rest of the year I just hit back roads around the house. Trying to decide between these two is like pulling teeth.

I dont have a bmw dealer in town so I would have to travel to another city and pay about 3k more to own one vs the zx14r.

I thought the zx14r would look bigger next to the s1000r. Maybe its just camera angle.

Well I reluctantly sold my precious 09-ZX14 when I moved to the US to live.
Rode the S1000RR and almost burst - it is like ZX14 power on a MUCH lighter and more nimble bike.
I've been waiting for my HP4 Competition to arrive now for 7 months and I'm getting jumpy......

The perfect duo..... I may have to get a ZX14 again because I miss her....

I couldn't decide which bike I wanted more till I rode them both. There are both insanely fast but the 14R definitely is more comfortable and gentleman like.
The BMW was just too uncomfortable for my taste, being 6'2" and having bad knees. But it was definitely a blast to ride and I'm glad I did it!
