Just fitting my centre stand and I found something I wasnt expecting to find!

So it seems the maual was correct after all! This maybe just in the Oz version though.

US models don't have that CAT...

I've removed 8 of them this year and none of them have it.

I thought their were 3 cats in the 2012. So just one in each pipe? How hard are they to hammer out?

Yup 1 in the headers and 1 in each muffler + O2 sensor. All to keep the EPA HAPPY.

Noticed the same when installed my Akras slip-ons that there is cat in the collector.

So if it has an O2 sensor, that means the ECU is using it, right?

So when you put a full aftermarket exhaust on, are you reconnecting the O2 sensor?

Yes the O2 sensor needs to be reconnected.

You can see the O2 bung in the picture.
