Americade is awesome but it would be awfully expensive and a pain in the neck for just a Meet and Greet.
You need to do it somewhere with less traffic and cost.
We do many in COG, and examples include meeting at Mr. B's BBQ in Berryville VA or a good restaraunt in Cumberland MD or that sort of thing.

I may have mentioned this before, but the last time I went to Toronto the border guard ran after my car and pulled his gun!!
That was over a decade ago and I no longer travel to Canada. Gotta have a passport now, they tell me. I preferred the "friendlier" days when the border guards just searched my vehicle or shouted STOP! while going for their sidearm, LOL.
Visited Canada several occasions for hockey tournaments. No hockey anymore either. But seriously folks, I am keeping an eye on this thread cause I missed the Bear and could have gone if I'd have known.
Have a couple outings booked for 2014 already and if at all possible (and in the USA), I want make the 2cnd Nation/Forum gathering. So here's a plug for the

I'd like to make a ride out to Michigan and check out the roads there. I pounded Wisconsin hard last summer by myself and had tons of fun. I'd imagine Michigan would have a lot of fun roads too.

Like I said before new to life so don't quit know what the hell you guys are talking about (4leaf clover races) but I do know that there are a million different places to ride here with all the lakes, hills, country we have a little of everything and its reasonably located for most of you. We also have one of the largest car and bike shows in the world in the Woodward Dream Cruise in August draws people from all over the world if any of you are interested in that.

Oh Yeah! I wanta do the Woodward! That's a great show.
Aren't the hotels/motels booked up about a year early on that? I ain't a camper, no way.
Thanks for suggesting that one; I will have to look it up and see if I can arrange to go this year. Be nice to meet up there also but I don't think that particular time fits some of the guys objecting to the earlier suggestions.
Michigan has great roads and countryside; fer sure. But I have been to Detroit and it does not draw me back at all.
Once the great Motown and now, hopefully, under new management and on its way to recovery.
Cheers.

You guys wanted to ride right? I live a few miles north of the cruise by some nicer areas and I might have some Room but the hotels out here usually aren't booked up and we can ride down to the cruise. During the summer Woodward is always bumping just not as much as the weekend of the cruise. You can stay in a real nice place and still only be 20 minutes away from everything. Just saying
