hi you all I had an 07zx14 race ready I bought 6th on the ago the new xx 30th anniversary and wow what a beast she is I haven't done any research in what's the direct between zx14 vs zx14R anything you guys know that can help me obout this new zx14 also about the sel button about the F and 1 2 3 traction bbtton I really don't know how it works I herd in the dealer a few things but just more curious about it

The bike is new, came with an owner's manual, it's best you read that book for most of your answers.

The "F" button is full power,the "L" button...70% power or so.Traction Control settings..."1"...least interference..except for "off"(which can only be set when bike is not moving and will default to '1' when key is cycled).Will allow wheelies...to a point."2"...more intrusion...will somewhat stop any wheelying...though it still will wheely if done a certain way."3"...'rain mode'..that is...it will intrude the quickest of the three to stop any slide,or wheelslip on slick surfaces.Probably won't use this unless it's raining or the road is compromised.

Hope this helps...You have ABS...FULL continuous pedal pressure with this when emergency braking.Do not let up on the pedal in such situations.You'll feel the pulsing going on...that's good.
