Anybody with Area P's

Yeah I know the pipe thing has been beat to death. But..... I had a set of 2bros and they were a little loud for my taste. Are any of you guys running the Area P's with the 2.0 cores? I'm not looking for every last bit of performance, I just don't like the looks and weight of the stock pipes. I just want a decent looking pipe that leans more toward the quiet side. The Area P website is selling the stainless pipes pretty cheap.

I have them in the carbon fiber with the 2" cores. LOVE them!!!!!! When new they were not much louder than stock. Much, much deeper sounding though. I sent them back to Kerry, the owner of Area P, at around 10 thousand miles for a re-pack. His turn around time was the same day!!! And, he didn't charge me anything. Well, except shipping charges. Now I have 12 thousand on the re-pack and they are starting to get a little loud again. But I think I will wait till 15 thousand to ship them back to him.

If you buy direct from Kerry, you CAN NOT beat the customer service. Hands down one of, if not the, best company I have ever dealt with.

495.00 is what their website says, that's a pretty good price. Soon as I sell my 2bros I'm all over it.

I heard an area p zx14 and didn't like how quiet it was. Different strokes for different folks.

I have the stainless w/2.0 cores. The sound is awesome! I pulled a baffle to check the packing at 10K. All was good, so it went back in. They have a much deeper sound than stock at lower rpm's. Get above 6 grand and they start to scream!

I have the 2.5" core CF units, very light, but very loud - I made up some 2.0" outlet end discs and now they are reasonable - probably louder than the 2.0" cores, but with nothing to compare them to it is just a guess. Still like em' though.

I have AP's but compromised by running 2.25's. I like the pipes. Mine were more than the $495 you posted though. I think mine,(18" with polished mid-pipe and end caps)was $695. Maybe they came down due to how times are right now.
