Throttle body sync tip
08/15/16 1:00 PM

Just completed throttle body sync on my 2008 zzr 1400. I could not get my angle driver to the center screw so that I could get it adjusted. I thought that a guide for the tool would help and did it out of 5mm plastic tube, trick is to push the tube over the center screw so that it sits there. With the tube in place it is really easy to guide the tool onto the screw.

Brilliant!

nice manometer too. Nice adjuster tool. Are you British by chance? thought those were only available in the UK.

Well without having used them, I'd say those are the tools to go with. The manometer shows vacuum in mm/Hg so you can not only balance but determine if it's in spec. The sync tool has a chuck so you won't drop bits. Thanks. I will put a link to this thread in my engine vacuum sync tutorial.

Your English sounds great to me. I'm part Finn, too. Gram and Gramp were both half Finnish.

If you mean MP SyncPro, it will disappoint you. You can use it too balance but no way to check vacuum levels.

Spend another $60 and get a 4 dial vacuum tester.

or here's the manometer to get and costs just a few bucks more than a suckPro.
