Question about slip-ons for my 2016 ZX14R SE ABS California model: Do the OEM mufflers contain Catalysts? Rather than installing a full system requiring a fuel management system or a reflash of the ECU I’m considering adding slip-ons from Yoshimura or Akropovic. Anyone made similar upgrades to a 2016 California version?

OEM mufflers and header contain catalyst. I am selling Akrapovic header and Yosh mufflers from my 2016 if interested.

Thanks for info on the exhaust. Now I understand why all after-market mufflers sold in CA are labeled “off-road use only”. Aluminum or titanium headers? Do you have a pic of the mufflers on your bike? Did you reflash the ECU or add a PC or equivalent? How much for headers and mufflers? Will you sell just the mufflers? Where are you located?
