What fits on the new generation 14 for a hard TopBox. It should fit 2 fullface helmets, and double as a backrest for my passenger. Input on what is available, is appreciated.

After looking, the Givi appears to have fine quality, so will likely order one.

Craig, how did you get on with the Givi Top Box? Have you ordered it yet. Did you find a good mounting rack for the Topbox ?

I was also looking at a Top Box, had planned to use the SW-Motech Alu-Rack with a Givi Topbox on the 2012 but the local distributor advised that the current Alu-Rack wouldn't fit without some major modifications.

After doing some more research into what was available for the 14R, I noticed on the SW-Motech German shop site what looked to me the Alu-Rack mounted onto a 2012 ZZR1400. Following up with the SW-Motech local distributor, i have been informed the Alu-Rack has been redesigned for the 2012 ZX-14R. I have placed an order with the local distributor, once I have the rack mounted I will post some pictures.

I am also considering the following soft luggage to use for touring.
Tailbag Speedpack Wide

Cheers,

Dags

Thanks Dags, I have been so busy I had no time to do anything lately, including ride. But thanks for the info. Which givi case your going to use? I will keep looking at this, and await more info. No big trips until later part of July, when I really need it for a 14 day trip.
