Sparky ... It looks like your post with just your buddy's red ZX with the red striped wheels is gone ... Could you re-post that pic for me?

Not sure whats going on on your end but I still see the picture i posted originally, anyhow...Here's another pic.

Love the wheel tape! I did my white with white reflective wheel tape, I love it! I did love the Silver wheels on my 2012 SE though. Both look great! Or you can go CRAZY and powder coat the wheels red! Like I did on my old R1

Can someone good at photoshop, put some SE rims on a 2012 Blue ? Thanks, always looked good on the green ...

Oh, and do you guys have any preference on brand of wheel tape ? I need one with an applicator because of arthritis and kind of shakey LOL ! I need all the help I can get !

Isn't it amazing how we all have different tastes?
To me, the silver wheels on the initial pics is the only way to go to show the red bike off to its maximum potential and I would definitely go that way.
Now if it was a black bike things would be different and I would then go the black wheels...

Black rims with red bike and gold stripe( I am partial because that's what my bike has)....

Rizoma makes custom brackets for the fluid reservoirs. Normally I would bend the shit out of the "universal" bracket that the reservoirs came with, but finally decided to splurge on the custom brackets. It definitely makes for a much cleaner installation. PJ's parts has the best deals on Rizoma stuff going..... Rizoma is not cheap stuff but it looks sharp and lasts a long time.

The wheel tape looks cool Phantom... Nice looking bike

Yes, not only are all the varying tastes amazing, but my OWN varying tastes! When I started this thread I was flippin' droolin' over that solid red ZX ... and yet I ended up buying a white one! ... and I love it!!!

We're all nuts anyway.

I like both wheels on this bike. There's something about the SE wheels I like. It's hard to describe but it's almost like there's a lines of silver and black running through the bike. The black centers of the wheel flow with lower cowling and frame and contrast the red paint.

I think Kawasaki tried to do the same thing with the '13 SE stickers but comes across more artificial and forced. On this red bike, it's more organic.

I've thought about doing what Hub said and mix matching the wheels (I have 2 sets, one black and one SE). Mentally picturing it I think silver rear/black front would be striking on my bike.
