I am disappointed there seems to be so little participation on here. Most of the posts are from 2019. Not sure what is keeping people off this bike (covic recession, pricing) it can't be performance. The HP available is enough for all except the obsessed among us.

Well, my broken knee is keeping me off mine. That and the snow. But I'm still posting.

Things normally drop off in the winter. It has been quiet around here for the last few years. Everything is known about the 14R. Hayabusa.org is rolling but there is a LOT of banter and very little new information. If you need a quick answer, you can get it there but it's all been discussed ad nauseam years ago.

Yes I agree with both of you. I am basically where I was in 2012 with the Zx14R as far as knowledge goes. When I got back in last summer with a second 2012 ZX14R I am basically looking at the same information I was in 2013. More stuff has been done with turbocharging but I can get enough out of a NA ZX14R than I can sanely use on the street. Frankly if you are interested in super high performance the Hayabusa is a better platform. If you are in for basic mods like pipe and tuning then the ZX14R is a better platform. The H2 is the next step for rational street performance and I enjoy seeing where guys like Maddevil and others do with this bike. I have always been a project guy who never leaves anything completely stock.

There are a bunch more parts available for the Hayabusa but a turbo charged 300 hp from either a busa or a ZX-14 without any engine building is as much as the average guy can afford. The super high performance bikes.....it will never happen for me. I have more important things to spend my money on, I hate to say but it's the truth.

Long in the tooth 2023 14 for another year. No SC 15R. Maybe next year. Electric won't be around for years if not decades. Mother Tea, I might switch to coffee.

So you heard the Gen2 14R definitely will be available for another year?

Mad Moore found 245 HP with a couple of MODS. He said it is too crazy fast for the street in stock wheelbase.
Vandemon Exhaust removes 20lbs.

He found 198 HP in the 2022 ZX10r.

Mother Kawasaki is blessing their Bikes if you have the exra cash to spend.
