Thanks Rookster...and yeah...that windchill CAN get yer azz within a short time if ya aint dressed for it.I like this 'outside temp' feature on this bike....you can kinda determine what you're gonna get using it.It doesn't change with bike speed either.Don't know HOW they managed that...but they did.
One nice thing about riding in these temps...NO BUGS!And the overall 'flow' of traffic and all feels calmer somehow...IDK...just a cool time to ride....no pun intended;)
I sewed a balaclava onto the back inside collar on my trusty Reima jacket....don't know WHY more mfgs don't do this as standard features on their 'all weather' jackets(in fact,I've NEVER seen another jacket with this in there). It's been a REALLY GOOD deal having it on there.Kinda like a 'hoody'...but thinner ya know...so you can easily get yer helmet on over it.It's saved many a ride for me.Totally seals off the rear neck/back area, and when the collar's tightened up....nothing gets in the front....makes a chilly ride much nicer.

Glad you're enjoying riding. I'll be out in a few weeks (I hope).

The blue was on sale so I couldn't pass on it though I actually prefer the green.
I almost ordered SS cans to save a couple hundred bucks. They look great, but the end, CF was what I wanted.
We got nearly a foot of snow Saturday, and temps last night were -3f. No riding today so I'll go skiing instead.
Enjoy your great looking bike !
