Last year I had dyno tuned my bike and with costs associated I decided to stay behind. Good thing I did had a higgh fever all weekend. That said I regret missing it and have set my sights on it for this year.

Trailer, why you bringin' a boat ??

Trailer to Deals, (maybe), I am going to ride to Bear.
If I trailer, I can spend all of my time concentrating on the gap, ripping roaring, rather than touring. EZ I didn't buy mine to tour. Short trips sure, but a 13 hour ride, hmmmm, not my thing.

If you come from up North you gotta get close to me to make it to Deals Gap, would love to be a meeting point in between, Bear Mountain be seeing you then or whereever!!

Bob's will set up the ride in such a way were I can collect you on the way.

Corn lots of details are being hashed out off line about the cannon. So far I can't talk about "fight club!"

Beyond that it's all snow flurries up here right now.

Wow! I just saw this. We mormally go every year at the end of May, or first of June. I would like to do this trip once a date is nailed down. Are you looking to stay in the Maggie Valley area? We have stayed in Gatlinburg 3 years and Maggie Valley the last 3 years. Rates are very reasonable. I will definately be going around or before father's day, but I might be able to get away again around August if it doesn't interfer with getting my daughter off to College. Keep us updated.

Wolf, it's not necessarily locked up but I'll have to play it by ear and just see what the location and date ya'll come up with. Lots of things going on during the summer with the kid and jobs. Not that I'm the only one with those problems lol I'll keep stalking the post to see what ya'll come up with. thanks for the concern
