Lost a friend on a ride back in 2008.

When we survive a crash (as I did recently) we get all wrapped up in ourselves, our injuries and our monetary losses, but also to be considered, the effect it has on friends and family.

Try to consider what your late friend would have wanted you to do and try to carry on with his memory. I think about my friend often, especially if I’m riding the road whose terminus he didn’t make it to. There’s a plaque on the tree he hit and I visit it and keep it fastened whenever I’m on that road.
