Can you email pictures or text them to me? I'm interested. I can't figure out how to PM you. If we can figure out payment, it works and is complete, consider it sold to me.

SouthPawCO - I am in contact with NinjaWarrior1244 and he is currently unable to log in answer your questions through this forum (out of town). His email address is goldwing.mann@yahoo.com and asks that you contact him there. Provide your phone number and he says he will call you. His password (to this forum) is not in his cell and he forgot it. I told him that you were interested though a text message. I don't want to put his number out here. I am sure you understand.
Good Luck.
P.S. You will only get quality from this guy. I'll vouch for him.

I received the radar last night and to say the least, I am not impressed what he sold me. The radar is broken, it is physically damaged and did not even come with the correct power cord that was promised. We had a verbal conversation over the phone prior to purchasing and I asked if it was in good condition; he replied yes. I asked if it was in working order and complete; he replied yes (minus the missing windshield mount and box). The radar I received was nothing that he said it was.
I have tried contacting him with no luck. It shows he read my messages but no response. I reached out to him a few more times and no response so I started a claim with PayPal to get my money back. Hopefully he does the right thing and refunds my money for a broken/misrepresented item. I hope $115 isn't worth ruining his reputation here and on PayPal. To top it all off, he even raised the price prior to me purchasing it and I still paid it. Keep in mind, I have 100% ebay feedback, 100% feedback on two different forums (local and national) and I have never had any problems. All I want is my money back and for him to take his broken item back. I have attached pictures and I have a video of how it operates. If I can figure out how to upload the video, I will.
As you can see in this picture, the top has been damaged and (glue?) has been applied for some reason? You will also notice all the lights going off and this is sitting in an empty parking lot not moving. I thought maybe it was picking up a signal but it did this the whole way on my 25 mile commute to work, even sitting on the passenger seat.
Picture of the damage on the side of the unit.
He sent me a Passport Escort cord which does not work properly with the Valentine 1.

I sure hope so too. I understand another member vouched for him so maybe he can reach out to him and let him know what is going on. I still have all of our text message conversations as well that I can post, but I will save those if he does not want to chime in.

Just for the record. I purchased the two OEM mufflers from him and they are already on my bike. They were mint, just as he stated.
Purchased a Genuine Kawasaki Tail bag, it looks like new to me.
Purchased a set of Piaa Cross country 35 watt HID's that were used but still looked new and they both work great. They sell for nearly $600 a pair I paid much less then half. I did opt to purchase a new wiring harness and the led on/off switch myself. They are on order as I write this.
So as you see, I really had no issues with the guy. I hope you get this sorted out. I already sent a text to him but he has not replied as of yet.
Do I know this guy personally? No. Like you I have only talk with him on the phone. He's about 1200 miles from me.

I see he has many more items for sale so I would hope would clear this up before selling to others. I'm glad your experience with him was positive so maybe this is just a misunderstanding. I do have an open case with PayPal as well so I know they will take care of it.

I text him last night and like you it shows he read it but no reply. What gives I don't know. PayPal is pretty good about this sort of thing SouthPaw, just follow through with it. Sorry for your troubles brother.
Personally for me - Lesson learned. Keep my neck out of others business although I usually do but rolled the dice on this one.

The O.P. is a fraud. This guy has created multiple profiles in the past to troll motorcycle forums and to create drama. In another bike forum where he was using his Goldwingmann profile, used to claim he was a 16 year kid with a zx14, and sister owned a C-14. lol.
You can see him using Ninjawarrior1244 and Goldwingmann simultaneously here:

Here is where he claims to be a 16 year old kid with a zx14:

Here he is trying to sell a C-14 engine to a zx14 member:

Sure wish I would have known all this before hand lol. Well it is in PayPal's hands now and I have faith in them. Also he tried to get me to gift the payment to avoid fee's and I am pretty sure paypal bans your account for doing so.

Well it is all in PayPal's hands now since the claim has been escalated. It shows that he responded to paypal and now they will review the case. Hopefully they can this scum bag and he should be banned from here.

Got some good news today. David (ninjawarrior1244) has lost the case. He is being forced to accept the item back and PayPal is going to refund my money. NEVER use the paypal gift feature unless it is someone you trust. Had I gifted him the money, I would not have been eligible for a refund. Hopefully an admin will see this and remove this person from the board. If you see him pop up somewhere else, be warned of what kind of items he tries to sell people.

Glad you won your case. At this point, I would value that over getting the 100 back. Even if the guy is able to create a new Paypal account using alternate info, that won't be worth absconding with your hundred bucks.
I just made a small purchase and gifted the $25 to a member on another forum. I did that because I didn't want him to get hit with a fee being that he was making a trip across the Canadian border to ship me one bolt. I got the bolt. Man it sucks that a few people take advantage of the trust between internet bike aficionados to scam money.

I used to use he gift function regularly. Anymore unless I know the person or have done multiple transactions i just add the 3% to what I pay. Some guys even specify to add 3% if paying with PayPal. Too much of a risk to trust some guy behind the screen. Glad you won your case. Too bad there wasn't pictures to start with...

Yes I am pretty happy the way it turned out. Gifting can be ok it someone has lots of positive feedback or transaction history with you. Maybe I just operate differently, but I was raised that you are only as good as your word and my word is worth a hell of a lot more than $100. I appreciate all the help and support!
