Recently picked up a new 2016 ZX-14R and need a new exhaust. I am after sound and looks foremost. I want a single sided can that is a CF parallel oval. I don't like the look of megaphone cans or duels. I bought a Sato racing high mount but it came off a gen 1 and did not fit my bike. The head pipes were not long enough and it didn't clear the oil pan. While searching the web I have found people who say gen 1 exhaust fit and others who say they don't fit. Maybe different brand fit and don't but the first one I tried didn't. My searches also are not turning up single sided exhaust that are not megaphones. Do I have to buy one brands header mid pipe and another brands can?

I guess some brands have a tighter fit than others. My Hindle Evolution full exhaust that was on my 06 bolted right on to my 16 and many others on here say the same about other brands that swapped over . Two Bros fulls are advertised for all years and many people say their Yoshimuras bolted right up. Slipons are a different story. Right now I'm running a full Arata Ti with a Hindle Evolution muffler. The Arata muffler is just to pretty for everyday abuse for me lol.
