Evening all...
03/20/18 9:22 AM

Evening y’all...after spending the last year plodding around the streets of Perth, WA on my custom bobber I have finally succumb to my itchy right wrist and tomorrow I take possession of my brand spanking new 2017 SE. The only foreseeable problem now is justifying all the mods I want to the Master & Chief. Happy times!

Welcome mate and congratulations.
You will not be sorry with your new purchase.

And as a fellow Australian that has been through it before with the Master and Chief, can I say from experience it's far easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

She's gotten over it and I have my bike and mod's...

My solution to your dilemma was enabled by Amazon lockers. Where "stuff" get delivered to a local store and I pick it up there. Now you just have to make sure you create the untraceable funding source such as a new line of credit el jefa does not know about - make sure its a big line of credit, that full Ti exhaust you will require is a bit pricey.

Welcome to the dark side!

That's the way to go. Don't wit ten years to get all your mods like I did. Find out what you need and get it all up front. Use it the whole time you own the bike to maximize the value to you. It is hard to sell and you will take a big hit if it was only used a year or two.

Offhand, I can't think of any aftermarket stuff that has been upgraded in the past ten years other than Brock came out with the CT exhausts. As long as you buy the best wheels, exhaust, suspension, etc., you won't need to buy again. Flash is probably the way to go over modules. If you self tune, you can think about whether you want to go with DJ or Woolich when you get to that phase.

Buy now, buy once, use for many years.

If you want turbo, That may be something you will have to sit down and think about but I'd do it ASAP. Might be hard to hide a turbo project from the wif.
