2007 1250s Bandit

In April, 2014 I found this very nice one owner 1250 Bandit with full Suzuki luggage system and Sargent Seat. It had 9600 miles. The previous owner was trying to turn the Bike into a touring Bike for him and his wife. When he added the 2" pad to the top trunk for his wife, it pushed her too far forward. He traded for a 2014 FJR.
I took the Bike for a test ride and I was surprised how smooth the engine is. It is as smooth as my ZX14r. I brought it home and found a Power Commander III under the seat not connected. I finished what the other guy started. I added a Delkevic header system, cut the #23 wire to eliminate the O2 sensor, removed the secondary butterflies, opened the air box and dropped in a K/N air filter. Also added a Zero Gravity Touring windscreen. Then I took it to a Dynojet tuning center where it pumped out 127HP at the rear wheel. It is a Hoot to ride. It has a low first gear, shift about 40 mph. The Bandit runs on unleaded Regular fuel makes 50mpg.

The Ninja is a much better engineered than the Bandit.
I am Wowed every time I ride the Ninja after riding my other Bikes.
