Hey here is little review on my Laminar Lip. I am still getting some to my head buffeting, but the overall wind on me has been reduced. Installation is relatively easy, remove four bolts reinstall with four plastic bolts and rubber washers.

Hey guys, I've put the flat bars I my bike recently, my backs pretty wrecked, together with the laminar lip. I'm 6ft tall. I've now drilled an extra 2 holes as the photos, it's brought the laminar lip around 3 inches closer towards me a a little higher with the spacing between the 2 screens. I'm very happy with the result, nice pocket of calm air now, zero turbulence. Johnno

I don't see how having a few extra curse words to use could be a bad thing. Actually just read an article about swearing research and the people who were able to come up with the most most swear words in 30 seconds also had larger vocabularies in general and higher IQs.

So, Boprop, in Minnesota the word : bloody : means someones an effing A hole ?
& apparently someone is also a wanker ?
I thought we were talking about bike windscreens ? or am i sadly mistaken ?

I'm screening for 0 replies in one site I was blown off of, came across, 'who's fault is it,' or some catch phrase. So I pop in, read his tach or speedo plastic cover warped. Come to find out he changed to another shield and it acted like a magnifier.
But can you imagine the bloody wanker throwing the blame at someone else? All of a sudden, JoeScreen curve is selling it as a 'race only' and who parks a closed course bike like that out in the street or takes to work and parks it outside? Who cares, it's a bloody aftmrk part. Then the wanker wants to blame the OE and oh look, all those OE screens are on recall because they melt the gauge cluster?
You take those bloody wankers and tape them to the spot under the screen so they can see who's fault it is.

I put in another 500klm day Sunday just gone, with the Laminar Lip in my customised position, 18 of us, one other guy on a 14, ALL sportsbikes, it was a fairly blowy day, like 40 to 50 klm wind. A few squirts over the 200klm. I couldn't of wanted for more in the wind protection dept. Comfortable in a word.
I,m certain that having the gap between the bikes original screen & the Laminar Lip diminishes turbulent air that the rider would be sitting in, compared to say a large one piece screen.
It might not look quite as nice as a one piece but it sure works for me.
She's turning out to be a Connie / GTR 14 on steroids.
I,m enjoying the 1441 a lot.

Wanker is roughly equivalent to dick or dong in the US.
Bloody comes from Old English sblood which comes from Christ's blood. I don't think there is such a curse in common use in the US. We just say bloody and don't know what it means. I doubt most other countries do anymore either but they say it more.
That concludes today's swear word etymology lesson.
wanker, bloody sod! BUGGER!!
...how am I doing?
