Holy crap! An entire video and the bike is STILL in the crate!!! GET IT OUT OF THERE ALLREADY!!!
It's nice to see Kaw using steel crates for it. We used to get our Ducatis and Triumphs in wooden crates. The first bike we got in a metal crate was the Desmosedici D16RR.

Yep...I was very relived to see it in that kind of shipping deal.It was totally solid..no way could it get tipped inside there.I don't even think it would move if the crate had been dropped or something.The 'holding' bolts went all the way through the frame,and the front axle.Then bolted onto the frame base.It was very well prepared.It was clear they weren't taking any shortcuts to have it delivered in pristene condition.

I think it has to be remembered,at least to me,this bike is a supersport.It's handling and all are not like a 14.Any real comparisons between the two are just that...differences.Not critiques.I never rode a 1000.So this whole experience is very different for me.It just happens that this bike fits me better for what I wanted.I like the lighter weight.I'm not getting any younger;)Everything else about it just worked.For me.NEVER any bash against the 14....not even.
