I was standing in the shower thinking about things last night and for some reason thought of this forum.. thought I'd check first to see if it even was still up and if it was at all active. Currently in the stable:
1: 2013 14r, stardust white, 24k miles - mainly used for hyper-touring.. if only that was legal. Had since new. Been a great bike
2: 2012 14r, spark metallic black - setup for drag racing. MTC Gen 2 clutch
3: 2007 14, rattle can white - also setup for drag racing. Hand clutch
4: other various bikes and crap

Speaking about hot off the presses...My buddy just sent this to me. I told him the 14 will walk away up top and he didn't believe me. It's nice to have the king in your back pocket. As soon as the next fastest shows up, I'm going to give him a screaming deal just to send it on its way out of the garage.

Well, there's a new busa but there's nothing new being said about it yet. I think they made it to equal the 14r. Suz didn't want to make it faster because then Kaw would have to make a faster 14. Suz is hoping Kaw will just let the 14r die. I'm waiting to see if that's what happens.

According to these suz vids, they answered their loyal busa owners; asking to keep the same platform but upgrade it.

Ha, let it die. It's more or less evolution runs and refining that model production thru the years. I've had 4 and can see the subtle changes.

You'd think they have the tooling for the SC so why not install it on the next, cough, 15 bore size. Imagine if you lightened the Tesla S and now 0-to-60 it. Someone runs a red light, you'd be past it before it hits the limit line. That's what I'm waiting to see.
