I just used a vacuum gauge tester from Harbor freight. U.S. General ITEM 93547. It was about $12. It probably is not accurate as a liquid vacuum tube tester because the needle on the vacuum gauge shakes a lot with the engine at idle. I checked mine with engine speeded up to ~ 3000 rpm and that made the needle pretty steady. Both banks looked the same so I considered it synced. Next time, I would try to get my hands on an inexpensive vacuum tube tester though.

"Pilot Screw Adjuster" ~ 57001-1292
"Vacuum Gauge" ~ 57001-1369
See your dealer for prices.
Let me save you a phone call. The vacuum gauge is about a grand.....

or was that the kawi special tool tachometer that you are supposed to use? Either one is cost prohibative. I checked with the dealership and some website and there is no way anyone will pay those prices for an occassional sync. I doubt if most shops even have the exact items recommended.

If you use inexpensive vacuum guages go to a pet store and buy aquarium pump needle valves this way you can stableize the needle fluctuation.I did that on my ZRX and then rechecked with motion pro mercury stick, worked fine
