Yes, sorry guys, I took the last FGRT forks for a ZX14. I think Dan K is right about it being the last in the USA, because he is the major retailer for Ohlins USA.

hmmmmm.....
ha-rumph-
well I don't know about dan Kyle just yet I'm calling my man at Motomummy tomorrow.
Hey now wait! There are FGRT forks and then there are FGRT FORKS, you know? Looks like Motomummy claims to have the FGRT R&T and then they have the FGRT 200
Which one do I want? Can't really tell from the descriptions if one is more road oriented or one is more track oriented. Any info on that Privy?

Are the Ohlins FGRT forks for a 2008 Kaw ZX-14 actually available? I heard Ohlin's quit making them for the ZX-14.
Also, I see you have the FGRT200 and FGRT R&T. I do not which I want so please check if both are DEFINITELY available.
Thank you
Daron

The FGRT 200 series is in stock. That is the only model available at this time. It's the newer model so that is a good thing. Also login to your account with us (or register if you don't have one) and you'll see the discounted price for the forks :)

So these is the 200 Motomummy has. Is this the same as the 207?
Is FGRT 200 the name for the latest series of Ohlins fork and 207 is the specific number that fits the ZX-14?
The forks they have are listed to fit ZX-14 are for 2012-2013. WILL THESE FIT A 2008 ZX-14?

Well, forks for the 2012+ are for the ZX14R and those are not the same as pre-2012 forks. They sure won't fit on a Concours 14 either. AFAIK. Could be wrong.
So yes, the old FGRT for the 08-11 ZX14 are out of production and nobody will have any. I am pretty sure Dan Kyle would know if they did, since he probably sold to them. LOL.

I confirm I talked to DK a year ago and it was 100% sure they would fit. I also ask the folks at Ohlins and they had no clue. Word on the track is that the NIX are a cheaper option made to appeal to a wider client base. Privateer forks are supposedly a little better. Best option is to replace the internals. The Ohlins forks do look way cooler and will match my Brembos really well but performance wise I wouldn't be gaining anything.

or maybe not.
Got your reply to the previous message. Have a new question.
I recently heard that the old FGRT 807 was actually a superior product to the FGRT 207.
I would not agree with that
That would have been very foolish for any company to do.
Supposedly, the 207 forks were made to sell to a broader market niche and Ohlins trimmed back on the internal mechanism compared to what they put in the FGRT 807. Any truth to that?
No
Ohlins designed these to be equal or better than the 25 MM cartridge forks, this includes all FGRT8XX series forks.
They designed them to be less expensive to make and then raised the price higher than the FGRT8XX series forks, as they had wanted to raise the FGRT8XX series forks for a very long time. A new fork was the opportunity to do that.
Thanks
Dan
