Can you all tell me what tank bag is best for 13 zx14r? One that won't scratch the tank and is stable at speed.

I got a Kriega US-5 tank, US-10 Tail and R25. They are still on the bike at 180. Bags are detachable and are able to be stacked together or attached to the backpack. When we went to orlando i had them attached to the stroller.

GIVI (among others) makes tank bags that attach to a ring that bolts to the fuel filler and nothing touches the paint. Beyond that, it's a matter of how much crap you want to drag along and which bag suits that purpose and you can stand the looks of.

Bought a Sedici tank bag today. It doesn't have magnets, and the straps don't work. Have to return it.
I am sorry to hear that. Did you tried the search link on this forum? Here I am including a few tank bag threads I found.
I got the magnetic MotoCentric Mototrek Tank Bag. I chose this tank bag because it comes with a map holder. Bought it in Amazon, it is sold by Motorcycle Superstore and it was delivered to my house in 3 days. $69.99 plus free shipping. Here are a couple of pics I took today.

Kofla, thanks for the recommendation. that one just about fits the bill as an exact replacement for the Ogio super tanker that I had before - it got stolen. Really the only difference is that the Ogio expanded to something like 25l when unzipped. IIRC it was 18l collapsed. Had just about all the same features tho. map pocket, key clip, organizer pouch, integrated rain cover, and turns into a backpack.
From the pics, it appears you have the magnetic base mounting; can you confirm that? I am going to order one, and a friend of mine is looking for a bag recommendation as well.
Thanks, Rod.
PS I would love to get one that locks to the fuel fill (ie cortech dryver or givi) but cant justify 2-3x the price. lol.

Yes, I have the magnetic base mount. Here is the link:

btw, Cortech sells a taller tank bag with an expandable compartment.

I got the Nelson Rigg Tank Bag, CL1030, that offers multiple mounting straps. I used 2 magnet straps in the back and regular clip straps in the front around the steering stem. Nelson offers a lifetime warranty and comes with a rain cover. It expands from the bottom It is about 15" long 8" wide and tall.

Any love for the SW Motech quick lock tank bags? That's what I've been thinking about getting, if they truly don't touch the paint.
This is what I just bought, but I accidentally bought the version with electric which cost an extra $93 and I don't even want it, so I'm swapping it (I think!)
I did open it and checked it out and it seems to fit the ZX14 tank very well ... but then I did not install the tank ring yet, just sat it in place; looks real good. I got (am getting) the biggest version to maximize storage space on the tank. Will post pics ASAP.

I just got the Cortech 18L mag mount and it looks like a wiener! Have not taken it for a ride yet but this summer the new tank bag and my OGIO pack will be the ticket for a few days up the coast with a credit card for room and meals. None of that camping on a bike crap for me. I love to camp and backpack and climb mountains but no way I want to even try packing the bare essentials on the BBW for a comfortable camp.
