Smatlock42, the 2014 black comes with the red striping tape from the factory. I'am still up in the air about removing it or not.

Yes...black rims.I mean...it looks okay with the red stripes...but plain black fits better IMO.Something stark and 'together' these all black 14R's....less is more I think....definitely makes an impression....

That muffler most definitely fits in well there with the blacked out parts...very nice.

I like the plain black rims better but the red calipers stay. That's cool sa hell. I really like the flat/satin black together.

I agree rook, the red calipers look good. I keep contemplating painting mine red but idk if the red would clash with the green or not. nice bike

I might carry over some stealth bomber themes - Perhaps some "do not step" or call sign, or such fighter fare. She looks awesome, but I would totally personalize her.

Very Nice Machine.. I saw that 1 on the show room floor when I bought my 2013 version and I wasn't feeling the red either. That Matte black is hot as shit tho.. and u did it right IMO taking out the red. Congrats. And 1400R don't give up on the white zx14 so quick..lol. white is still a pretty looking bitch. Lol

I love the black ones...only thing is...I feel like I have to ride like a maniac on one...For some reason...the other colors mellow me out just enough...IDK why that is....but the Black's are very cool....very.

I remember back in 07 when the dealer delivered my zx14 to me at home.They parked across the road..with their closed trailer.They opened those doors,and that guy backed my bike out...I was watching from my driveway....my God...when that beast rolled down that ramp...all I could think of was..."GEEZ...I'm gonna get killed on this Black Monster;)It's just BADASS!!!!!!"...it was too...and I almost DID get killed;)After that...it was Blue for me...couldn't deal with having a Black Venom again.Redid all the bodywork in CPB...loved it...after I healed up that isLOL!!Got 51K miles out of her before the New birds came out...the 2012's.Now I'm in love again;)But that 07...flies out and piped/PC'd/advanced timing...sweet riding machine for sure.Miss her sometimes...just because.

I guess my 'color theory' doesn't hold much weight though...I crashed my 2012 Green baby...bout died in that one too.Green is good...It'll work for me.Got ABS out of the deal...so THAT's a plus anywayLOL!!!But that Black...it's stark and mean...enjoy!
