Loving my ZX14R
06/22/20 7:55 PM

Hey all,

New member, just picked up my 2014 ZX-14R on tuesday and drove it up from VA to NYC. Picked it up from FL. Loving every moment of it. Had a ZX-10R previously but got stolen. Anyways here are some pics!

Congrats! Did you ride it all the way up from FL after purchase or trailer it? Great choice on bike!

I have riding boots, Just didn't have space to take all the luggage with me, I had my riding pants and helmet, wore my jacket on the flight down.

Congrats! Did you ride it all the way up from FL after purchase or trailer it? Great choice on bike!

I took the Auto train from FL to VA then rode the rest of the way, Got to test out the top speed in the process

Cool! Me and 3 buds took our bikes on the Auto Train from FL to VA, but then rode west to the N start of Skyline Drive and rode the entire Skyline Drive - Blue Ridge Parkway route ... Highly recommended!

Good luck with your new bike

I didn't know the Auto Train was a thing. Had to Google it. How cool! Wish Amtrack offered it in other parts of the country.

Thanks! ... and they're shy

Nah, just kiddn .. I've just never really wanted my own mug on the 'net, and so I certainly wasn't gonna put my friends' mugs on the net, without asking anyway, and then I decided, Meh, I'm not even asking, just not gonna do it at all. No need, nobody needs to see 'em.

extrapolator, just checked out your trip report. Very cool! Thanks for sharing.

Although Colorado has some of the best riding in the world, there are lots of places in this country I'd like to ride, but with family and work, I have very little time to do it. Something like the Auto Train would be fantastic if it were available in various parts of the country.

ManiZ - No problem, glad you enjoyed it. Fun trip, and enjoyed making the ride report too

I'm actually right in the middle of watching Brock's clutch vide, literally right now as the email notice of your post came in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YFqq5kI-fw ... all the clutch details and tricks than anybody could ever needs, seemingly. I don't even have any clutch problems (knock on wood), but my friend found the vid and thought it was interesting.
