Why Do I want a TRE?
04/17/09 5:21 PM

I haven't the foggiest if you have read that you lose a 10th at the 1320, but Ivan shows a hp increase on his website? I can toggle the tre on the fly and it Viagras the opposite direction. It takes seconds for the effect to happen, so I am sitting on a slug that loads up and now lags ever so slight at the throttle, I cannot imagine all the tre's out there, no one has mentioned how that thing nosedives once you set a backup or a limp mode.

If something is going in a retard mode, and you left the subs in, sure, you feel the increase; but do not feel the hidden lag luster of the whole effect. My old manager would QC my work. I would have to be on par with all those awards from the dealer having some sort of incentive to make a decent back door.

In other words, I better have that bike spot on in the tuneup. I keep telling you, I never timed a cam to some spec. I leave that to the tuners. I do the tuneup. We know you could push me off like a sprint car and we are fully locked in advance. So I more or less can feel this tuneup is get the stumbles out and run it linear up the red. It has to burn clean up to that point and there is the tune.

So, when I run base as you download your base map for whichever piggy products you have, you know base is box stock tune and you revert to that tune each time you chase another map. How come your bike runs better with your pipe and all that needing a piggy if base keeps answering your shitty tuneup.

Did that make any sense because here at home, they want me to shut the ufk up about FI is sick of hearing it. Are you?

Sorry to say, Hub, I'm not sure what your point is. But then, I seldom am with your posts. Heh.

What I am trying to say is that because I tried out Ivan's deal, bought the book and then ventured into more of the bike and the code sets, I have come to the conclusion is that yes, there is a slight boost on these hacks but you more or less see both tre's set the bike in a default mode.

How can I explain this as to say that you do not run one tre without doing this to the bike. OK, so you remove the flies for one and leave the other one alone is the other GPS wire hack to ground, basically and you set the code.

What seat of the pants I am saying is that if you just tried both hacks to ground, you will see both fall on their face. Yes, you have to mod to throttle body to make the opposite work, but when you do, you do not see the limp behind it. That is more what I am saying.

So, if you see Ivan's squiggly lines up the graft showing an increase in HP is yes, there is the one side of the performance of the hack. But then you read that 10th drop off and there is the hidden hack you do not see but OK, how confused are you if I showed you two events are increased HP but a loss of HP at the top.

You moved a grunt up and down the scale it looks like. So, why would you think I was happy I was out of hack set playing with the MB door slammer hack-less and the performance on the bottom was there for me and you think the limp was going to interfere with the throttle action?

I lag that thing and the more throttle I throw at it, the thing grows a beer belly like me; it limps as it steps with all that lag slight rich and fat did the performance drop; is was not as spot on as stock set. The '08 flies are about spot on; I just think both that hack, the flies, my line, his bumper, my face planted in it if I do not get back to thinking about standing the hair on the back of that guy's neck to speed it up if I am on his tail light that close. Shit, he had the car for this and I sure was out of hack for this.

As much as that first gen fly took it's time opening, it was a muscle relaxant more or less. Once you tre [basically short] the system, it again becomes fly ripping slow. Even though you feel that rise in the sub-shaft default, the lag is once again in a hidden limp that is layered over or blanked over so as to act the redundant first gen slow fly opening.

That means, I took a layer off and can see both in action. No, I mean the one wire hit and how it has two functions. One is to rise the flies. The other is to set the fuel/timing change and that is what I cannot conclude. But there is something that limps where you think it sports a tune.

So, it is more or less saying, "Yes it does [fly rip],' 'No it does not, [when I can feel it limp and lag on the fly rip]."

Do we have tre owners experiencing a loss of gas mileage on either tre switching wires? Or, do we have tre owners with improved mileage when they installed either one? Think about it.
