Were there any changes in the 2006 to 2011 yrs as far as engine goes ? and no ABS . right ? I am only interested in gen 1 .

Bore size no. Crank and clutch basket yes. You'll have to match basket with crank gears. One is straight cut, the other was conical.

No ABS on US models until the Gen2. Some minor changes in injectors and piston dome on the 2008-11.
