Vic, my state is not on the list and thankfully when I do ride far none of those are either. I have fellen twice on the track both on an F4i, once on cold tires in Feb and once in 4th gear, lost the front getting in waaay too hot, stupid mistake. I'm sorry but 16K of any kind of riding and you're still a noob. That being said if you own a 14R and still alive that means you are a good responsible owner IMO and keep doing what you're doing.

The track is where you develop your skills to maneuver your bike on the street and stay out of trouble. It helps with EVERYTHING, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. I'm well over 150,000K street miles without issue and the potential crashes I would have had I owe to the track. How many emergency stops can you possibly have had? One trackday would eclipse that number easily.

ABS question, are we only speaking of the front brake activating? When people say ABS saved you, was the rear brake involved?

Since we're just pulling numbers out of our ass... Nope, it takes at least 1,000,000 accident free miles to be considered a competent and safe street rider. You're well short of that.

What number are you implying I pulled out of my ass? If it's 150K then that's your problem if you don't believe me.

I believe you've rode 150k miles. But you're saying you've determined that's the adequate mileage to consider yourself a safe rider. Since 16k isn't enough, 150k isn't enough either. It's 1 million miles. So you got a long way to go before you get to shake your stick buddy.

Btw, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person here who's ever held and used a Class A CDL drivers license. That makes me the only professional driver here on the forum. So if there's anyone here that can evaluate safe operation of a vehicle, it is me. Believe me, all you little kiddys that hthink you're such billy bad asses around here ain't shit. You got no clue what it means to operate a vehicle until you've driven a truck weighing 40 tons through Chicago, LA, Atlanta, NYC, Toronto, Dallas, etc. You think riding your little 2 wheelers makes you big shit for 150,000 miles. Try doing that in a year in an 80k lb truck. When you do that, you can talk to me about safety. Until then, keep your snide little comments to yourselves.
