funny you say this .. i've been digging into a gtr14 motor and finding whats interchangeable .. i'm finding some good stuff .. and it really isn't that hard to turn a zx14 into a shaft drive

Shaft drive on a sport bike? sideways jacking or lash, 50 pounds of extra weight, real loss of power you might as well buy a Concours. Maybe I'm showing my age but, I think sport bikes should have a chain. ABS sounds good though.

It would add some weight, but because of the design shaft jacking isn't an issue on the C-14.

Don't Chew Start making assumptions you can't back this thing in with gear drive? Posi-rear is sip and slide the lock and unlock in the rear turns linear. OK, if you had the software team at it to do it up, that is.
