@jafo:it`s not the old nürburgring (NORDSCHLEIFE) that`s awesome, but the GP-track was also nice..but shorter..~5km/round,and not so heavy to ride...with mountains and vallys...

@steven:The motor was my dealy-driver motor with a 210 polini cyl.,30TMX Mikuni and exaust from "homemadebuild"!
Normaly I ride the motor in my 83 PX...dealy to work...not so fast with windshield..~120km/h.
I fixed a long transmisson in the motor an take it in my 66 vespa..
Drive from Stuttgart to the Nürburgring, about 350KM and made the race.
And I am wondering,I was the fastest scooter there....but it`s not a race, you must drive every round with the same speed/time as in the 1st round..ok,I made it..fast..and in time..2nd place for that, and 1st (inofficial place)of all scooters.
No time to wait about the cup..i must drive 350KM back...
;-)
It`s a nice oldtimer race for bikes...special class from scooters till 1976 and older.
Normaly you see old BMW..NSU..MF-Augusta ..old GP-bikes with 500ccm 2t...or bikes with side-cars.

Also drivers from UK and Italy comes with the scooters...they like it too..

Heck, that's one helluva fast scooter. I have had Fiat cars that were slower than that.

Yes,it`s not realy slow...on the AUTOBAHN I am passing some SMART(the old one) at top speed..nice to see there faces!
;-)
But at the next race in May I hope to get +150km/h..I work on a new PX-Motor.
And in summer I hope my "big-bänger" was ready to go..from 50cc a "upgrade" to 280cc..the cyl. are as big as the hole engine block.hope that motor was able to tun +160km/h.

Irish?hahah..hope that was a nice compliment..I like the green land..but I never been there...hope some time...

So..at 10 Mai I start at the "Köllner-Kurs" on the Nürburgring race track (gand-prix-track).
Sauturday all bikes will come..sunday the race will start.

You see nice old biles..BMW..Ducati..MF-Augusta..500cc 2Strok..and of course old scooters till 1978.
