good god!!!!

I guess it's good to see what can happen.

That could be a hoax but if it is, somebody went through a hell of a lot of work to create it. It doesn't matter. Dead is dead.

A) Is it plausible that the body, both legs and the head would have ended up within 30 feet of one another after the impact it would have taken to sever both legs and the head?

B) Is it plausible that the head and both legs would have been severed in one blow or would they have been separated from the body as a result of two or three impacts as the body slid along the rail at 100 mph? It doesn't matter that the first bike flew sideways at the rail. Both bikes were traveling forward so fast that I can't see how any pieces would be found close to one another. With that kind of forward momentum, shit would be scattered for an eighth mile even if all the pieces were separated in one blow. At the ned of the video, it appears the helmet is laying near the body too.

C) The rider was wearing a lycra base layer so you would expect he had on leathers (he does have on a leather top). If he had on leathers, no boots? The rider who crashed first seems to have on high white boots in the video so this would not be him. Would the first guy's boots fly off and his pants but his lycra base layer hung onto both of his feet and apparently prevented the one leg from flying away from the other? It doesn't matter which guy. Lycra wouldn't hang on like it appears to have done in the video.

D) The head looks suspiciously like a rubber mask. What is the likelihood it would come to rest with the neck down instead of on it's side? Could a face get dented in like that with no blood coming out of the face?

E) If this was an Arab, he was very light skinned and shaved his legs.

It could be real but it seems very unlikely to me the body would end up more or less all in one place.

F) Would the knee joints be extended like they are with the quadriceps having been severed at their origin on the hip girdle? or would the tension in the hamstrings flex the knee joint a little?

Too many improbabilities for this to be real, I think.

Me too but if it's a phony, it was a very good phony and truth be told, the real aftermath of this wreck probably wouldn't have been any less grotesque. It's good to keep in mind what can happen to us if we don't keep our dander down when we're out there this summer.

I've seen a lot of videos of bikes passing on the shoulder at triple digits. That sort of thing is insane. Going that fast near any unsuspecting traffic you come up on is crazy too.

I'm guessing what happened in this video was the guy who initially crashed hit something on the shoulder he was using to pass the car. The bike flew and the second guy ran it over which sent his bike flying and the wheel was probably destroyed. I'm sure the rider flew off as soon as he hit the other bike.

Actually, it looks like the pelvis was split right in half. I still think that leg position looks unlikely and if the lycra stayed on the ankles, so would the pants....unless he was riding in just lycra pants but even then...Really?
IDK.

I have no idea if its real or not. The local SoCal sportbike forum posted it and they think it's real, IDK.

As Hag said, the guard rail could have dissipated the kinetic energy in a split sec and the bits could have just tore themselves apart, 50 lbs of leg is a lot of inertia to stop suddenly.

Since no one has mentioned Darwin's theory of natural selection, I will. Its real life on display here. At least he didn't feel anything.

Probably the most disturbing vid I have ever seen, if its real ....

Don't know about passing on the shoulder...not sure he did that.Tankslappers can happen instantaneously. That speed.Crazy.My coming up riding again is gonna be more 'controlled'.I've learned a lot watching the moto wrecks, how they happen and such.I do good out there, but I gotta stop passing multiple cars on a two lane. That's my worst fault out there.I've been watching the opposite shoulder now for the last times I've ridden. When I'm goin for the pass.Checking to see if there's any turn ins.People will just turn right into one of those roads heading off to the left.If you're passing at high speed,it's gonna be REAL BAD.I watch for that.Had one or two close calls with that sort of thing.Luckily I was able to apply full brakes and get slowed down.Had I not seen the cage up there startin to make his turn,it woulda been a big ass T-bone.

That's a grim one but there's grosser ones of car wrecks. If you find it, it makes this look sort of tame but the fact this one is bikes hits home pretty hard.

Guardrail could slice ya up damn easy at that speed.I would have expected a bit more blood...but who knows.
